"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain

“Gwynne provided a useful framework for greater work-place understandings of fell workers. She created an environment of enthusiasm and energy for the course topics.” Jim Sparks, PMP

Peak Strategies and Dr. Dawdy acknowledges that in order for training to be valuable, it needs to be focused on improving performance, not just offering content. The tools we give in our workshop are designed to improve performance. However, knowing the information and having the tools is not enough. Participants must be accountable to actually put the tools and knowledge to use. In order to feel comfortable enough to do this, our workshops include an effective and nonjudgmental environment in which to practice those skills. We also incorporate a MasterMind group so that participants can network and practice skills or brainstorm solutions to problems with other professionals. Having a strong network of peers and professionals is important if you want to excel. Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo Da Vinci, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and many other great thinkers have belonged to (and benefited from) MasterMind groups.

These groups are great for brainstorming solutions, as well as practicing the skills learned in training. Dr. Dawdy realizes that when a person does not practice what they learn, they may easily forget or lose that skill. Remember some of the courses you took in high school and college? If it has been quite a while since you have learned that information, you may have forgotten the skills! The same holds true with trainings. It is important to continually brush up and practice those skill sets in order to be truly effective. As the adage goes, "use it or lose it". Because of this, it is important to continue with your chosen MasterMind colleagues in order to effectively implement the skills learned in training.

Through our executive development, team performance, and coach training conferences, clients foster elite leadership skills, enhance employee performance, and become master change agents.

  •      Recognize (and then tap into) one’s abilities to perform at optimal levels

  •      Become a high potential person: stretch your learning, your life, and your goals

  •      Achieve personal or professional objectives, desired changes, & sense of purpose

  •      Minimize stress and promote balance

  •      Enhance relationships: understand people’s patterns, choices, & behavior and use that understanding to relate, communicate, and work more effectively

  •      Advance the levels of performance and productivity within organizations

  •      Increase awareness of yourself and those around you

  •      Manage weight, stress, and increase wellness (while increasing effectiveness)

“The Social Compass material covers an area of project management that is not well documented or covered elsewhere. One or two tricks and techniques learned in this workshop could drive huge dividends in overcoming problems on your team.” Carol Maher, PMP, LSG Sky Chefs

Through open-enrollment, customized trainings, and one-on-one coaching, individuals and organizations can reach peak potential, understand themselves and others, resolve organizational challenges, become master change agents, and achieve objectives. These strategies enhance the individual strengths needed to increase performance and success.

Peak Strategies is a training, coaching and development firm that incorporates several quality traits within each and every workshop or session we provide. These qualities include:

  •   Pre- and Post-workshop attention in order to maximize desired performance and change

  •   Highly interactive feedback and extensive assessments used to pinpoint strengths and areas of improvement useful for   results in a timely fashion.

  •   A safe and secure environment in which feedback is shared, learning is heightened and networking is encouraged. In this, we also embrace the ethical guideline of confidentiality between and among all parties involved.

  •   Hands-on, fast-paced, and experiential learning that focuses on the needs and desired objective of each participant. In this, our workshops are also fun and rewarding.

  •   When working within these trainings, one of the foundational concepts is goal attainment. With this in mind, goal setting for goal getting is a key component for each participant and organization.

  •   In most of our courses, especially those open-enrollment courses, Peak Strategies embraces the strengths and experiences each participant brings to the course. We have tailored many of our workshops so that those strengths and experiences are embraced and shared with each of us. Many of our open-enrollment courses incorporate Mastermind groups and networking communities in order to encourage goal attainment and continuing support.
